Firefighter Lambert began his career in the fire
service as one of Haralson County’s first three
paid firefighters. He received his initial
training through the
Georgia
Fire Academy and began his employment with the
Carrollton Fire Department as a National
Professional Qualified Firefighter II and HAZ/MAT
Technician in 1997. Shortly after he joined the
Carrollton Fire Department, he earned his
certification as a National Registry EMT.
Some of Bill’s other training includes emergency
vehicle operations, Ladder Truck and Engine
relief driver, radiological emergency response,
first responder radiological emergency
transportation, radiological waste isolation
pilot program and pre-hospital management of
traumatic brain injury.
Bill is a graduate of
Bremen
High School
and the University of Connecticut with a B.S.
degree in Science. Bill is happily married to
his wife, Kelly, and they have a son named
Samuel.
