Driver/Engineer Goldin began his career as a
firefighter with the Haralson County Fire
Department as a volunteer in 1991. He joined the
Carrollton Fire Department in 1995 as a
professional firefighter. He was promoted to the
rank of Driver/Engineer in 2004.
Some of Brian’s qualifications include, Georgia
State Certified Firefighter, National Registry
EMT,
Certified Fire Investigator, Rescue Diver, Rope
Rescue, CPR Instructor, State Certified Fire
Instructor, and National Professional
HAZ/MAT Technician.
Brian also has training in emergency vehicle
operations, pre-hospital trauma life support,
terrorism emergency response, arson detection,
radiological emergency management, weapons of
mass destruction, and waste isolation pilot
program (radiological). Brian received his
rope rescue technician certification in 2005.
He is a member of the west Georgia regional HAZ/MAT
team and serves as one of the HAZ/MAT
instructors.
Brian was born in
Jacksonville,
North Carolina
and raised in Braketown, Georgia. He is married
to Cindi and has a son named Douglas. He is a
1993 Graduate of Bremen High School. |
