Chad’s public service began with Cleburne
EMS in 1992. He volunteered with CEMS for six
years before starting firefighting with Heflin
Fire and Rescue in 2003. He joined the
Carrollton Fire Department in February of 2006.
During His time with
Heflin Fire and Rescue, Chad has attended many
classes and gained several certifications in
many aspects of firefighting. Some of Chad’s
certifications include Firefighter I,
Firefighter II, Vehicle Extrication – Level 1,
Haz-Mat IC, Rope Rescue, Wilderness Search and
Rescue, First Responder, ICS 100-400, NIMS 700
and 800 as well as NIMS Train the Trainer. These
classes were obtained through the Alabama Fire
College.
Chad
graduated from Cleburne County High School in
1994 and now resides in Fruithurst, Alabama. He
and his wife, Vicki, have two children, Chloe
and Colin. Chad has worked for his father-in-law
at Tallapoosa River Forest Products since 1997
as a timber buyer. |
