Engineer Bradley began his career as a
firefighter with Carroll County Fire/Rescue in
1989 as a volunteer firefighter. In 1996 Chris
became a fulltime firefighter/EMT with Heard
County fire/EMA. He joined the Carrollton Fire
Department in 1997 as a fulltime professional
firefighter/EMT.
Chris is a State of
Georgia
certified Firefighter, National Registry
EMT,
National Professional Qualified
HAZ/MAT Technician, CPR/First Aid Instructor,
member of the West Georgia Regional HAZ/MAT
Team, and has training in emergency vehicle
operations.
Throughout his career, Chris has received
training in many areas which include, rescue
specialist, crash victim extraction, structural
fire control, practical fire ground hydraulics,
radiological emergency response, waste isolation
pilot program (radiological), emergency response
to terrorism, pre-hospital management of
traumatic brain injuries, and a street sense
approach to infectious disease control.
Chris has donated much of his time as a
volunteer firefighter, teaching CPR/First Aid
classes and fire safety classes to the public.
He has also worked part time as an EMT for
private ambulance companies. Chris received his
rope rescue technician certification in 2005.
Chris was born in Villa Rica Georgia in 1971,
and is a 1989 graduate of
Temple
High School.
Engineer Bradley currently serves as a
driver/engineer on ladder truck #21.
