Lieutenant Entrekin began his career with the
Carrollton Fire Department in March of 1989 and
was promoted to Lieutenant in 1992. Lt. Entrekin
began his 18 year firefighting career as a
volunteer firefighter in Haralson County.
Lt. Entrekin has extensive training in arson
investigations and serves as Fire Investigator for
the
Carrollton
and Haralson County Fire Departments. Lt. Entrekin
also has training in law enforcement and is a
mandated peace officer.
He is a member of the Georgia State Firefighters
association, Georgia Fire Investigators
Association, Outstanding Young men of America, and
the West Georgia Regional HAZ/MAT team.
Some of Lt. Entrekin’s training and qualifications
include, Georgia State Firefighter, National
Professional Qualified
HAZ/MAT
Technician, National Registry EMT, Arson
Detection, Apparatus Operator driver, CPR and
First aid instructor, Fire Arson investigations,
emergency vehicle operations, management and
training programs, radiological emergency
response, radiological emergency management, cameo
dos, structural firefighting, and pre-hospital
management for traumatic brain injuries. He is
also a certified rescue diver.
Lt. Entrekin is an active member of the Union Hill
First Congregational Methodist Church. He is
happily married to his wonderful wife Donna, and
they have two sons. |
