Driver/Engineer Cobb began his career as a firefighter with the Carrollton Fire Department in 1994. He was promoted to the rank of Driver/Engineer in _____.

Paul is Georgia State Certified Firefighter, EMT, National Professional Qualified HAZ/MAT Technician, and has training in emergency vehicle operation. 

Paul is a 1992 graduate of Bowdon High School and continued his education by attending Southern Union College and Jefferson State Community College, obtaining an associate degree in fire science. 

Some of Paul’s other training includes, arson detection for the first responder, pre-hospital management of traumatic brain injuries, emergency response to terrorism, radiological emergency management, waste isolation pilot program (radiological), and a street sense approach to infectious disease control. Paul received his rope rescue technician certification in 2005.

Paul is currently assigned to engine Company #22 as a driver/engineer. 

Paul is the proud father of two children, Jake and Makennah.
