Lieutenant Johnson began his career as a firefighter with the Carrollton Fire Department in July of 1992. Lt. Johnson has worked his way through the ranks and has earned the rank of Lieutenant. 

Some of Lt. Johnson’s qualifications include State Certified Firefighter, medical first responder, and national professional HAZ/MAT technician and CPR/First aid instructor. 

Lt. Johnson also has training in emergency vehicle operations, heart saver AED, radiological emergency response and management, waste isolation pilot program (radiological), and pre-hospital management of traumatic brain injuries. 

Lt. Johnson is married to Cassandra and they have two children, Martez and Darius. The Johnson family is active in their community and church.
