Captain Spratlin began his career as a
firefighter with the Carrollton Fire Department
in 1989. Captain Spratlin progressed through the
ranks becoming a Driver/Engineer, Lieutenant,
and Captain in 1996.
His
is a State of Georgia Certified Fire Officer,
State Certified EMT, National Professional
Qualified HAZ/MAT Technician, and CPR/First Aid
Instructor.
Captain Spratlin has also attended many
management and supervision classes which
included incident command. Some of his other
training includes arson investigation, many live
fire training sessions, firefighting in
buildings with sprinklers, breathing air
technician, interior search and rescue, Cameo
Dos and Windows computer data base training,
crash victim extrication, emergency vehicle
operations, pre-hospital management of traumatic
brain injuries, special supplemental inflatable
restraint systems, infectious disease control
and radiological emergency response and
management.
Captain Spratlin is a member of the Georgia
State Firefighters Association and West Georgia
Regional HAZ/MAT Team.
