Firefighter Hallford began his career as a
firefighter with the Carrollton Fire Department
in January 1997.
Some of Tom’s qualifications include, state
certified firefighter, National Registry EMT,
Life and Fire safety Educator, and national
professional qualified HAZ/MAT Technician.
Firefighter Hallford also has training in
emergency vehicle operations, radiological
emergency response, emergency response to
terrorism, ladder truck relief driver, Engine
relief driver, and pre-hospital trauma life
support. Before being transferred to an engine
crew, Tom served as a driver/operator of Ladder
#21.
Prior to his Career as a firefighter, Tom served
14 years in the United States Army. He served
with the 82nd and 101st
Airborne Divisions. He completed his tour of
service as a staff sergeant and Army recruiter.
Tom is married and has three children. He enjoys
golf, hunting, and riding his Harley Davidson.
He is a member of the Southern Cruisers
Motorcycle club and the Christian motorcycle
association.
Firefighter Hallford also works part-time at
Tanner Medical Center, Emergency Room. |
