Battalion Chief Paul Cobb was born in Bowdon, Ga and began his career with the Carrollton Fire Department in August of 1994. After graduating high school in 1992 he attended Jefferson State Community College and earned an associate’s degree in Fire Science in 1995. Chief Cobb has a mixture of formal education and technical training. Has attended numerous fire and management related classes including NPQ Fire Officer 1 and 2. He holds Technician Level certifications in multiple disciplines of rescue training and is a Georgia state certified EMT-I. He is a State Certified arson investigator and is a member City of Carrolton Fire Department’s Arson Team. Chief Cobb believes in loyalty and dedication and strives to set good examples of high morals and ethics.
